Originally from Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe, a charming alpine village resort in Savoie located less than an hour from Chamonix, I have always kept a strong connection to the mountains and have never stayed away from them for very long.

I now live between Annecy and Geneva, where I am fortunate to enjoy all the wonderful benefits of this beautiful region between lakes and mountains. 

Owner of Le Snood apartment since 2018, I regularly spend weekends and short family stays there. Each time, it is a real pleasure to recharge in the heart of the Chamonix Valley, enjoying both the wide range of mountain activities and the vibrant atmosphere of the town center.

Rules

House Rules & Rental Conditions

To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone and to protect the property, guests are kindly asked to respect the following rules. By confirming the reservation and staying in the property, the Tenant agrees to comply with these conditions.

 1. Peaceful Use of the Property
 The apartment must be used in a respectful and peaceful manner. Guests must respect neighbors and avoid excessive noise, particularly between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, in accordance with common building regulations.
 2. Maximum Occupancy
 The number of guests staying in the apartment must not exceed the number specified in the reservation. Parties, events, or gatherings are strictly prohibited unless previously agreed upon in writing by the Landlord.
 3. Use of Equipment
Guests agree to use all facilities and equipment (heating, appliances, kitchen equipment, multimedia devices, etc.) in a careful and reasonable manner. Furniture must not be moved or rearranged without prior agreement.
 4. Plumbing and Waste
 To avoid damage to the plumbing system, guests must not dispose of sanitary products, wipes, food waste, or any objects in toilets, sinks, showers, or dishwashers that could cause blockages. Any costs resulting from misuse will be charged to the Tenant.
5. Damages and Maintenance
Guests must notify the Landlord as soon as possible of any damage, malfunction, or issue occurring during the stay. Any damage caused by negligence or improper use will be the responsibility of the Tenant. Items listed in the inventory that are damaged or missing may be charged at replacement value.
6. Condition of the Property
Any complaint regarding the condition of the apartment or its equipment must be reported within 24 hours of arrival. After this period, the property will be considered accepted in good condition.
7. Repairs
The Tenant agrees to allow the Landlord or an authorized professional to access the property if urgent repairs are required during the stay. Such repairs will not give rise to any rent reduction.
8. Subletting
Subletting the property or allowing additional guests to stay without the Landlord’s prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
9. Residential Use Only
The apartment is rented solely for temporary residential and leisure purposes. Any commercial, professional, or business activity is strictly prohibited.
10. Insurance
Guests are responsible for ensuring they are covered by appropriate insurance for rental risks such as fire, water damage, or theft during their stay. The Landlord cannot be held responsible for theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings.
11. Pets
Pets are not allowed in the property unless expressly authorized in writing by the Landlord.
12. Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment.
13. Keys
Guests may not duplicate or copy the keys provided. Lost keys or remotes may result in replacement costs.
14. Internet Use
Guests are responsible for the proper use of the internet access provided and must comply with all applicable laws.
15. Respect for the Property
 Guests must leave the apartment in a reasonably clean condition at check-out and follow the departure instructions provided by the host.
